NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASE (NCD) PROGRAM.
With NCDs on the rise, our integrated approach focuses on prevention, early detection, and management. We implement strategies to promote healthy behaviors, enhance access to diagnostic tools, and provide quality treatment and rehabilitation services. Our advocacy efforts ensure NCDs are prioritized on health agendas.
Implement strategies to prevent NCDs and promote healthy behaviors, including tobacco control, promotion of healthy diets, physical activity promotion, and reduction of harmful alcohol use.
Strengthen healthcare systems to facilitate early detection and diagnosis of NCDs through improved access to screening services and diagnostic tools.
Enhance access to affordable and quality treatment and management services for individuals living with NCDs, including medication, counseling, and rehabilitation services.
Build the capacity of healthcare providers, community health workers, and local organizations to deliver effective NCD prevention, treatment, and management services.
Advocate for policies and programs that prioritize NCDs on the national and regional health agendas and promote multisectoral collaboration to address underlying determinants.
Tuberculosis Program.
